The nomination process for the 2020ÌýRegent Awards is now open. These awards include honorary degrees, university medals and distinguished service awards. The individuals who receive these awards are truly remarkable. The awardees are honored at the commencement ceremony in May each year.
I would like to encourage you to consider nominating for one of these three awards. The final decisions are made by a committee of four members of the Board of Regents. Each campus has a small committee that reviews nominations sent to their campus to be sure qualifications are metÌýand then forwards them on to the Board of Regents office.
The nomination process is managed by the system office and packets are due by Sept. 15, 2019. Please.
