Jovan Speller, a Minnesota-based artist, is giving a lecture. She uses her photography, installation, sound, textand mixed-media visual work to interpret historical narratives.


Tuesday, March 19

Sunscreen is an important tool for protecting your skin and health. Try a skin imager to see how UV rays have affected your skin thus far.

Enjoy a showing of “Ghost in the Shell,” a 1995 animated classic. The film stars a cyborg police woman on a journey to hunt down a hacker. A discussion (in English)will follow.

The Center for Inclusion and Social Change is having a mixer for Inspired Dreamers. Snacks will be provided.

Share a token of your appreciation at the UMC. Celebrate a special woman in your life by writing them an appreciation card.

Men of color are invited to a free haircut event with local barbers. Food will also be provided.
