Proclamation makes Feb. 1 Center for African and African American Studies Day

In a state of Colorado proclamation, Gov. Jared Polis named Feb. 1 the Center for African and African American Studies Day in honor of CU Boulder's CAAAS, which had its grand opening on Feb. 1.

Teacher preparation programs receive praise, full reauthorization by state

At the Colorado Board of Education February meeting, all of the School of Education’s teacher preparation programs were lauded and received sweeping reauthorization. CU Boulder was praised for its “true partnerships” with districts and reading instruction, an area where very few other university programs have earned reauthorization on the first pass.

ֲý donated 1,966 meal swipes as part of the Swipe it Forward event, which encouraged students with meal plans to “pay it forward” and support their fellow Buffs. The meal swipes will now be available as emergency meal cards to students in need of extra support.
