CU Boulder’s acting dean of the College of Arts and Sciences has accepted a dean position at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jim White will remain at CU Boulder through June 30.

ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ at the Immigration Defense Clinic have represented more than 20 longtime university employees from El Salvador who have temporary protected status, which allows them to work. The clinic is helping them become permanent residents.

Pre-tenure faculty whose research, scholarship or creative work was stalled by COVID-19 can now apply for the new Thrive Grant through a partnership program launched by the Office of Faculty Affairs and co-sponsored by the Boulder Faculty Assembly and the Research and Innovation Office.

The campus community is invited to attend a virtual address by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 16. The event, discussing how America's leading research universities and Ukrainian officials can work together to help rebuild and transform Ukraine's decimated higher education sector, will be hosted by the AAU, of which CU Boulder is a member.
