Established in 1993, theTed Scripps Fellowships in Environmental Journalism recently celebrated 25 years at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Boulder. The fellowship, which moved to the university in 1997, is named after the late Edward (Ted) Scripps, grandson of the founder of the Scripps Howard Foundation and a journalist who cared deeply about the environment.

The fellowship program is made possible by a grant from Cindy Scripps, Ted’s daughter, through the Scripps Howard Foundation. The program is organized and administered by the Center for Environmental Journalism at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Boulder, with guidance from an advisory board.
