Course Description

This course offers an experiential project-based approach to learning design thinking and innovation. A portion of the course is individual readings and assignments which prepare you to create an entreprenurial team project. This course will help you understand how to design with customer's in mind and how to most effectively create value added features.

  • Effectively complete a customer discovery plan
  • Identify and evaluate user personas
  • Understand how to develop sound hypotheses and create prototypes
  • Learn to collect and analyze data and utilize the feedback to improve your design
  • Learn to create an effective pitch deck
  • Practice pitching your design based on the audience
