Scott will be heading to Italy in February as an invited speaker in the 'Introgression and hybrid speciation, in memory of Richard Harrison'听session of the ,听the world's largest conference on 
speciation research. Rick's sudden passing in April shocked the evolutionary biology community. The memorial included here, and published in a special issue of Molecular Ecology,听resonates strongly with those of us who were fortunate enough to interact with him, learn from him, and call him our friend.听
