Size and square foot measurement

To calculate the square footage of your print, multiply width X height / 144

Example:

  • Desired image size is 16x20in with 1in margins all around.
  • Final print size 18x22 (with margins)
  • Multiply widght by height and divide by 144. Total square footage is 2.75 (18*22/144)
  • Multiply total square footage for the desired paper type.
    An 18x22 print on Epson Premim Luster paper is $14.66 for CU affiliates and $24.42 for general public

Lab Policies

  • Credit/Debit card payments only (no Amex)
  • Payment is due at time of service and card must be present
  • Files are printed as-is. It is your responsibility to proof-read and scan your file for editing errors
  • No refunds given for color, contrast, or print quality issues derived from the file
  • CU-affiliated patrons are defined as University students, staff, faculty, and alumni. ID verification may be requested
  • Non-CU patrons: $5 minimum charge.
  • Any files that require more than 30 minutes of adjustments or editing will be subject to hourly editing charges at the discretion of the print lab staff.ÌýÌý
  • Prints must be picked up within 7-days of notification that the print order is completed. After 7-days, the invoice will incur a 50% interest charge to be processed via the Bursar's Office. Unpaid bills with the Bursar's office can delay registration, graduation, and the release of transcripts.Ìý

Rush Fee Policy
Printing is done on a first come, first served basis.
A same-day rush fee will be charged when the lab is busy.

Eligible for a reprint/refund:

Please read below to determine if your print job is eligible for a reprint/refund. All requests are subject to approval, and you must submit your request within 24 hours of experiencing a problem. If your request is approved, we will provide a reprint whenever possible; a refund will be issued to the original method of payment.

  • The printer ran out of ink or paper before your job completed
  • There are defects in your print caused by the printer
  • Lab staff damaged print during trimming or packaging
  • Print was trimmed incorrectly

Not eligible for a reprint/refund:

  • User requested wrong number of copies
  • The color range or density of the print does not match what was on the monitor, or is otherwise different from what user expected
  • User damages print during transportation
  • Border or trim instructions provided were incorrect
